The Ambassador to Costa Rica, María Faria, warned that the humanitarian crisis is not the only problem that Venezuelans are going through, since they also suffer from the worst security crisis caused by the concessions of power that the regime has granted to armed criminal groups.
“Organized crime, an expert in the violation of human rights, acts with impunity, causing severe damage to the moral fabric of society,” denounced Ms. Faria in a message broadcast through her social network accounts.
The Venezuelan diplomat indicated that the usurper in Miraflores does not guarantee the human right to security for Venezuelans.
“Their pacts with criminal gangs and terrorist organizations throughout the geography of Venezuela, leave the population helpless in an environment of violence and anarchy,” she added.
Furthermore, the official condemned that the regime is obstinate in the effort to imprison innocent political leaders or civilians while it cedes territory to murderers, thieves, torturers, rapists, terrorists and drug traffickers.
“The politicization of security since Chávez was the beginning of this serious problem,” explained Amb. Faria.
Finally, Ms. Faria made clear that the patronage nature of the Venezuelan regime is evidenced in the wrong policies to deal with criminals.
“Madurado armed civil groups and special forces to defend his political interests. Now he is incapable of fighting the gangs that he created himself,” she concluded.
