The ambassador in Costa Rica, María Faría, met this Monday with the Minister of the Presidency, Víctor Morales Mora. During the meeting, the envoy of President (E) Juan Guaidó, explained how important is the support of this country to the democratic struggle of Venezuela.
“Costa Rica is a fundamental country in recognizing and supporting the legitimate government of President Juan Guaidó and the cause of freedom of our people, because this country is a bastion of consolidated democracy and an immeasurable defender of human rights and inclusion,” said the ambassador.
Faría stressed that the interim government’s receptivity to requests for support is increasing “because we share the interest in joining efforts for the restitution of democracy in Venezuela.”
“In each meeting we hold, we propose to generate pressure mechanisms that will accelerate the recovery of democracy in Venezuela, generating new alliances and defining strategies,” she added.
The ambassador explained that during the meeting with Minister Morales, they reviewed the updated reports on the migratory situation of Venezuelan citizens and the report that reveals the very serious disaster that the regime has caused in the Mining Arc with the exploitation of blood gold, the involution and humanitarian crisis that Venezuela is experiencing and the presence, under the protection of Nicolás Maduro, of narcoterrorist groups that commit crimes in the national territory and compromise the security of the entire region.
