The Venezuelan ambassador to Colombia, Tomás Guanipa, made a visit to Medellín on Wednesday to meet with the Venezuelan diaspora in order to help them dispel all their doubts and listen to all their problems.
Guanipa met with Venezuelans who benefited from the “Housing Assistance” program of the Secretariat for Social Inclusion, Family and Human Rights of the Medellín mayor’s office, where he listened to the reality of the Venezuelans present.
During the meeting, the Venezuelan citizens living in Medellín received legal advice from members of the diplomatic mission.
Those present indicated to the Venezuelan diplomat that their intention is to return to the country when the cessation of the usurpation happens. For this reason, Ambassador Guanipa highlighted the importance of the participation of migrants in the Popular Consultation.
“The Popular Consultation is extremely important since it is the way in which the Venezuelan people will raise their voices and express to Maduro that they want his departure and the holding of free elections,” he concluded.
