The Venezuelan ambassador to Colombia, Tomás Guanipa, warned this Monday about the images revealed in a report by Noticias Caracol in which FARC dissidents are shown imparting political doctrine to Venezuelan peasants in complicity with Maduro’s regime.
The Venezuelan ambassador released part of the video where a FARC commander can be seen saying that they are “in full support of Comrade Nicolás Maduro, to continue with this government, to continue in command, directing this ship.”
In addition, the Colombian guerrilla mentions that people from the political party Patria Para Todos (PPT) are part of the work team, to become a force of power that supports Nicolás Maduro.
“Today we have the upper hand, nothing would justify that the fight of that unforgettable comrade Hugo Chavez … of comrade Nicolás Maduro, could fail today,” says the guerrilla in the images released.
Subsequently, he clearly states that his task and purpose “is to help consolidate the revolutionary process (led by Maduro) in Venezuela.”
Faced with these new images, Ambassador Guanipa denounced that “this shows clear support for the regime that violates human rights in Venezuela,” he ended.
