The Ambassador to Belgium, Mary Ponte, reiterated her commitment to the Venezuelan migrants and refugees who make life in the country.
This Monday, Ms. Ponte reported that she has traveled to several cities around the country and in Luxembourg, where she has contacted Venezuelan refugees, especially those who have received negative asylum applications.
“We continue working to support our citizens and make the situation in Venezuela visible,” she added.
The diplomat affirmed that she works so that Venezuelan refugees are recognized as part of the more than six million refugees who have had to go into exile in the world in order to have a free and dignified life.
“In Luxembourg I had the great pleasure of accompanying you to the Tree of Wishes where we wished the greatest shared desire: to have a free and democratic Venezuela,” she declared.
