The Ambassador of the Government in charge before the Republic of Peru, Carlos Scull, informed that recently a very important decree was approved for the regularization of the Venezuelans in Peru.
In an interview with Sergio Novelli for VPITV, the diplomat indicated that around 500,000 people will be able to benefit from this process.
The permit that regulates the immigration status of Venezuelans will be granted only to persons who have entered by October 22nd and one of the requirements will be an affidavit. The person will have 180 days to complete this procedure and a valid passport or identity card is required in order to do this.
However, he stressed that what is still unclear if after this year there will be a special immigration status.
