The Ambassador to the Republic of Costa Rica, Maria Faria, attended the appointment ceremony of the new Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Costa Rica, Rodolfo Solano.
“During the Presidential Greeting, I had the opportunity to reiterate our gratitude to President Carlos Alvarado for his support and accompaniment of the efforts that unify the struggle for freedom and the restoration of democracy in Venezuela,” said Faria through her official account on Instagram.
The Venezuelan diplomat said that to achieve the rescue of democratic values in Venezuela and Latin America, “it is fundamental for us – Venezuela – to have the support, within the OAS and the Lima Group, of a nation that values and dedicates its efforts to the defense of human rights, justice and peace.”
For her part, the Venezuelan ambassador to Costa Rica extended her congratulations to Dr. Solano Quirós, who has assumed his new position as Foreign Minister since February 3rd, after an extraordinary diplomatic career in countries such as South Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Brunei, Malaysia and in the opening processes of the Costa Rican embassies in the People’s Republic of China and in Qatar.
Finally, she thanked the Costa Rican government for its solidarity with the Venezuelan community and our desire for freedom.
