The Venezuelan Ambassador to the United States, Carlos Vecchio, ratified that the Legitimate Government shares the need to implement protection measures in favor of Venezuelan migrants in the United States.
“From the Venezuelan embassy in the United States, we ratify that we share the need for a measure of migratory relief and protection to be approved,” Vecchio said.
The Venezuelan diplomatic representative indicated that these measures seek to obtain for the Venezuelan community
1. Legal permanence,
2. To be able to work,
3. Not to be deported.
“We have worked this approach together with our diaspora, which has been a bipartisan cause in the US Congress,” Vecchio said.
Similarly, the Venezuelan ambassador reiterated that “the global pandemic makes a protection measure even more necessary.”
“We appreciate all the efforts of all instances to make this a reality,” he ended.
Desde @EmbajadaVE_USA ratificamos que compartimos la necesidad de que se pueda aprobar una medida de alivio y protección migratoria que permita a la comunidad venezolana en EEUU:
1. Permanencia legal,
2. Poder trabajar,
3. No ser deportados.
