The ambassador to Peru, Carlos Scull, reported that the diplomatic headquarters held days of legal procedures in the city of Tacna.
“The embassy in Peru is holding a new attention day for Venezuelan migrants so that they can regularize in Peru,” he said.
Scull reported that during his visit he met with the Chilean consul in that entity, Alejandro Gibbins, in order to discuss the Venezuelan migration crisis.
“We talked about the immigration situation in the border region and the need for more information for Venezuelans about visa procedures,” he said.
This Friday in Tacna, the Venezuelan diplomat visited the border of Peru and Chile where he held a meeting with Percy Fernando Pisfil Gonzales, Tacna area chief of the Superintendency of Migration, to get to know first-hand the facts and the migratory process of the border crossing between both countries.
