The Representative of the National Assembly of Venezuela in Panama, Fabiola Zavarce, expressed her satisfaction at the recent demonstration by students in Venezuela called “Ruta por Venezuela”, and invites young people inside and outside the country to follow this example, to demonstrate for that which we really want for our country.
“Youth has always been present in the fight for democracy, and for this reason this group of Venezuelan students decided to raise their voices, put a stop to the lack of opportunities, to the absence of a vision for the future, and the flight of young talent from our country. Let us all support this route through Venezuela,” highlighted Zavarce.
The call to protest throughout Venezuela took place last Saturday and was led by the Confederation of Students of Venezuela (CONFEV). It was held simultaneously in Caracas, Zulia, Lara, Nueva Esparta, Bolívar, Anzoátegui, Mérida, Carabobo, Monagas, Sucre, Barinas, Trujillo, Yaracuy, Falcón and Delta Amacuro. This peaceful movement aims to mobilize the streets in the country.
“Ruta por Venezuela” has also generated good comments in the opposition leadership, as is the case of the 1st Vice-President of the National Assembly, Deputy Juan Pablo Guanipa, who affirms that “Maduro and his accomplices have stolen the possibility of progress and getting ahead from our youths.”
Ms. Zavarce validates what was expressed by the political leader, who also ratified the support and accompaniment of the legitimate National Assembly to this movement that seeks to achieve change in Venezuela, since she assured that the objective is the same. “We all dream of a country of opportunities for all, and the representatives of the Interim Government in every corner of the world also share this sentiment,” she said.
