The Embassy to Brazil and the NGO ‘Casa Venezuela’, organized a day to deliver basic supply baskets in the city of São Paulo, where they served more than 200 Venezuelan families in a state of vulnerability.
The event, which was also attended by Ex-misses of Venezuela who have also migrated, aimed to attend those people who have been left in a state of vulnerability after having fled their country to escape Nicolás Maduro’s criminal dictatorship.
Likewise, the event had the support of the Government of the State of São Paulo who provided the space in the Latin America Memorial for the delivery of food.
‘Casa Venezuela’ has been helping Venezuelans to enter the labor market. However, the task has not been easy due to the adverse effects of the pandemic that have hit the world economy and Brazil, making opportunities increasingly difficult for Venezuelans seeking a new rebirth.
This NGO is led by women like Blanca Montilla and Yasmín Monsalve, who were recently joined by former Miss Venezuela, Patricia Jurado, to form a team of intelligent women, warriors who continue to support and contribute their grain of sand from wherever they are.
