This Thursday the Colombian government expressed its concern about the serious humanitarian effects after the clashes in Apure State.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the international community to unite in assisting in this humanitarian crisis,” the Colombian Foreign Ministry reported in a message released through its official network accounts.
Similarly, the Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained that the aforementioned armed clashes heve forced more than 3,100 people to cross the border to find protection in Arauca, Colombia.
