The Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence, recalled this Saturday that his country, under the mandate of Donald Trump, was the first nation to recognize Juan Guaidó as the legitimate President of Venezuela.
Likewise, the US representative recalled that for Venezuela to retake democracy, Nicolas Maduro must stop usurping power.
“Maduro must go,” he said through his personal Twitter account.
Likewise, Pence sent a message to Venezuelan-Americans and reiterated that they can count on the U.S. for support until Venezuela regains its freedom.
“You can be sure that the United States will support the people of Venezuela until their freedom is restored,” he concluded.
“Pueden estar seguros que Estados Unidos apoyará a la gente de Venezuela hasta que su libertad sea restaurada”, concluyó.
