The National Assembly reiterated that the convocation by the regime on December 6th is a great fraud to remain in power and finish destroying the Venezuelan democracy. It urged the Venezuelan people not to fall into this trap and avoid going out to vote in this false election, and participate in the constitutional Popular Consultation to reveal to the world this scam that the usurper intends to carry out and that if we support true free, transparent, fair, democratic and verifiable elections.
The deputies of the AN debated about the non-participation in the fraud of December 6th that the regime plans to carry out to screw itself into power, a debate that was held online this Tuesday, November 24th, during the ordinary session of the Venezuelan parliament.
The debate was initiated by the deputy for the Bolívar State, Olivia Lozano, who affirmed that the democratic forces and the people of Venezuela are going to face one of the darkest episodes in the country’s republican history, a large-scale fraud carried out by a regime, that in her judgment, is agonic.
“A regime that lost the support of the people due to its incapacity, because it is corrupt, criminal, a murderer and violator of Human Rights and crimes against humanity, which has subjected the Venezuelan people to misery, which has destroyed Venezuela.”
She asserted that the regime with the Dec 6th fraud intends to take by storm the only legitimate constitutional power recognized by the world. She added that the Venezuelan people are very clear that this is a fraud and that is why they are going to reject it.
“We see the scorpions traveling in private planes wasting the money that bought their dignity while the people die of hunger and misery. God and the country are going to demand it, that is why we are going to the popular consultation, which is guaranteed by the National Constitution, to reject this fraud by Maduro’s regime and that we are going hold true fair, free and verifiable elections.
This fraud is a crime against popular sovereignty
The deputy for Mérida State, Williams Dávila, continued the debate emphasizing the rejection of the Dec 6th fraud, considering that there are no conditions as established by the Constitution to hold free, fair and verifiable parliamentary elections.
He insisted that the parliamentary fraction of Acción Democrática, the whole party and its militancy, demand free presidential and parliamentary elections to dismiss Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship. He affirmed that they will never accept that the Party emblems have been kidnapped by the dictatorship.
“For the scorpions, for those who committed acts of treason, not only against the party, but also against the Venezuelan people, by lending themselves to cooperate with the dictatorship and participating in the fraud of December 6th. While they travel in luxurious airplanes, wasting the euros and dollars that they have received from the regime and the people do not have dollars to pay for a (cooking) gas bottle, they do not have dollars to but food.”.
He clarified that the ‘white card’ (AD’s emblem) embodied in the Dec 6th fraud card was kidnapped by the dictatorship, all the ‘Adecos’ are going to fight so that on December 6th no one takes to the the streets, because no ‘white’ (card) vote is going to contribute to the fraud.
He stressed that this is a fraud that is being committed against the Venezuelan people, which he described as a crime to popular sovereignty, and the National Assembly raises its voice for the Popular Consultation so that the people demand free, fair and verifiable presidential and parliamentary elections .
“No to the electoral farce of December 6th, those traitors are going to be defeated, they will always be pointed at with the finger of ignominy in the pages of history, because they are traitors and they used the party structures to deceive. Those who joined as cooperators of the dictatorship, because they are endorsing the crimes against humanity that the whole world through the United Nations has pointed out in the case of Maduro and all the cronies that are part of this dictatorship.”
Phantom assemblies
While the deputy for Amazonas State, Mauligmer Baloa, during her speech stated that indigenous and native peoples reject the fraud of December 6th called by Maduro’s regime to stay in power and the delegates elected in phantom assemblies.
She assured that the indigenous people are discriminated against for wanting them to participate in a second-degree election, with delegates elected in ‘ghost assemblies’. “Our indigenous brothers have stated that, in none of these communities in southern Venezuela, have such assemblies been held.”
She explained that in those phantom assemblies they appointed supposed delegates from each of the regions where the indigenous people of the south of the country live, for a fraud not on December 6th, but on December 9th that has been planned by the illegal CNE.
“In total, in these phantom assemblies, appointed 3,558 delegates with whom they intend to guarantee the deputies from the South, East and West of the country. Three thousand people who never consulted with the rank and file, least of all the voters of the original indigenous peoples.”
She described the summons of the usurper as a circus, that his intention, among other things, is to wash his face before the international community, which is not fooled by the fraudulent maneuvers of the regime.
We must not validate the blow to democracy
For his part, the deputy Bolívar State, José Prat, considers that the regime intends to try to give a varnish of legality to Dec 6th, when the intention is to give a blow to the last stronghold of democracy and institutionality that remains in Venezuela, which is the National Assembly, legitimate power elected by popular vote as established by the National Constitution.
“Venezuelans must not validate this blow, we must leave them alone in the botch that the regime has set up for December 6th and participate in the Popular Consultation, show that we are the majority and we want to restore democracy in Venezuela.”
The 6D would ratify the usurpers in power
Likewise, the Second Vice President of Parliament, deputy for Carabobo State Carlos Berrizbeitia, stressed that on December 6th there won’t be any elections but an electoral fraud so honest Venezuelans, who are the majority, who want democracy, freedom and a change, cannot participate in a fraudulent process.
“To participate in the Dec 6th fraud is to ratify the regime as usurpers of power. What the democratic opposition is going to do constitutionally is to call the people to a popular consultation, so that it is the people who will tell the democratic world and tell the regime that they do not agree with the Dec 6th fraud.”
He argued that we must tour the country and bring the message to Venezuelans that on December 6th there are no elections but a fraud and promote the consultation so that the democratic world realizes that in Venezuela what the majority wants is a strong democracy, a majority that rejects the regime and the impostor of Miraflores.
December 6th is a gross maneuver by Mduro
To close the debate, the first vice president of the National Assembly, deputy for Zulia State, Juan Pablo Guanipa, took the floor and stated that on December 6th a new political fraud is being prepared in Venezuela, repeating the case of May 20th, 2018, when “Maduro graduated as usurper of the presidency of the Republic, with a farce in which he was elected without votes.”
He indicated that this regime assumed before the world that it is a criminal dictatorship from the moment the opposition achieved, up against cheating and advantage, the qualified majority of the National Assembly in December 2015.
He argued that this year when it is appropriate to hold parliamentary elections, Maduro’s dictatorship decides not to hold elections but a farce preceded by the one of May 2018. He said that they have made all efforts to ensure that the solution to this crisis passes through elections, but unfortunately they have come across a wall like the one in Berlin, but it is a wall they must tear down.
“Maduro and his accomplices decided not to hold parliamentary elections, they decided to steal the parliament, for that they disrespected the work of the Electoral Nominations Committee and illegally appointed a CNE which is the PSUV electoral office, they created laws that were not sanctioned by parliament, they changed the configuration of the National Assembly, violating the Constitution.’
Likewise, he recalled that: “they kidnapped the acronyms (and symbols) of the political parties, to hand them over to the so-called ‘scorpions’, who decided to get money to pretend to be (political) opponents and show the world the illusion of a competitive election.”
“Venezuelan citizens, let’s not go to that charade on December 6th, let’s delegitimize that crude ‘Madurista’ maneuver with our absence. Let us demonstrate before the world the repudiation that Venezuelans feel for Maduro and his accomplices, let us continue fighting for free, fair, and verifiable presidential and parliamentary elections, let us participate in the Popular Consultation as a mechanism to invoke popular sovereignty, a tool to organize ourselves and mobilize ourselves, to exert internal pressure that joins to the international pressure.”
