The deputy of the National Assembly, José Manuel Olivares, denounced the hospital crisis in Venezuela where the assistance centers do not have the necessary supplies.
The parliamentarian said that the nursing staff of the Central Hospital in the city of Maracay began an arms down protest from 7 am because they do not have protective equipment.
“Hospitals must be equipped. Help came from Russia, China, PAHO. Where are all those tons of protective equipment,” he said through his Twitter account.
The deputy has demanded that Nicolás Maduro’s regime release information on the true figures of people infected with COVID-19, calling it irresponsible to play with the lives of Venezuelans.
