This Monday Deputies of the legitimate National Assembly gave their full backing to the proposal presented by President in Charge, Juan Guaidó, for the restructuring of Monómeros Colombo-Venezolanos S.A.
This proposal has the purpose of taking actions to correct and deal with complaints of irregularities within the company.
Deputy Edwin Luzardo, a member of fraction ’16 de julio’, said on his official Twitter account that “decent Venezuelans are asking for the restructuring of Monómeros.”
Likewise, the parliamentarian Richard Blanco, assured that supporting the decision of the Venezuelan president means showing the country that the deputies support the truth.
“We must restructure Monómeros and punish those who have practiced irregular administrative procedures that become crimes,” said Dep. Blanco in a message posted on his official Twitter account.
Legislators Ana Salas and Rosmit Mantilla assured that since the National Assembly is the only legitimate institution that Venezuela has today, it is the responsibility of each of the parliamentarians to support the restructuring of Monómeros, thus managing to protect the assets of the Nation.
Meanwhile, Deputy Sergio Vergara, remarked that President in Charge Guaidó’s proposal to restructure Monómeros is based on the need to save the assets of the Republic and advance in a process of professionalization of management in an expeditious manner to strengthen transparency.
For his part, Nafir Morales, a Deputy for the 1st circuit of Caracas, pointed out that it is of great importance that the members of the National Assembly assume their duties to Venezuelans and that the restructuring be approved.
Finally, parliamentarian Marco Aurelio Quiñones supported the restructuring of Monómeros to achieve rectitude and transparency.
“Rectitude, honesty and transparency in the management of the nation’s assets are an unavoidable commitment,” concluded Mr. Quiñones.
