The deputy of the National Assembly, Nora Bracho, said on Tuesday that Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship is indolent on the situation facing the Venezuelan people after the heavy rains.
“Today they will be more eager to award prizes than to help these affected families. The priority of the representatives of the regime WILL NEVER BE THE PEOPLE.” said Bracho through a message on her official Twitter account.
In this sense, the parliamentarian for the state of Zulia denounced that the regime, aware of the deplorable state of Maracaibo’s drainage and sewer pipes, ignored it, causing a tragedy for several families.
“The rains became a tragedy for dozens of families in Maracaibo who saw their belongings disappear under the waters because maintenance work was not done in gullies and drains,” she ended.
