The Deputy of the legitimate National Assembly for Lara State, Luis Florido, accused Nicolás Maduro and his regime of lying to the country as well as to international organizations such as the World Health Organization, about the reality of those infected and killed by COVID-19, and demanded that they let in the vaccines to immunize the Venezuelan population that deserves to live in health.
He indicated that since COVID-19 has become known and its arrival in Venezuela, the first thing that died was truth, from that moment on a chain of events, a sequence of lies, has defined Nicolás Maduro’s regime.
“He lies with the cases that are registered every day and the deaths, to the Pan American Health Organization by not complying with the agreement after receiving the PCR tests, about 350 thousand approximately and almost none were applied. Then lied to the World Health Organization and PAHO by not complying with the agreement to let 12 million vaccines to enter the country, with funds provided by this legitimate and sovereign National Assembly, and that you, Nicolás Maduro, lie to Venezuelans saying that you are not going to let the Astrazeneca vaccine enter the country because it is supposedly not safe.”
He stressed that last Sunday Delcy Rodríguez announced that there were more than 1,700 cases and just 15 deaths from COVID-19, when the reality is that there are many more and only in one city more than 15 deaths were registered. He added that the true figures are revealed by doctors and nurses organizations as well as clinics and hospitals.
He recalled that the day Deputy Bolivia Suárez died on December 17th, 2020, Delcy Rodríguez said that there were barely 5 deaths, when the reality is that 20 deaths were registered only in Barquisimeto, which represents less than 4 percent of the national population.
“Nicolás Maduro got used to lying to Venezuelans, because you don’t care about its people, you don’t care that Mrs. Carmen Alvares and Mr. Pedro Trujillo die of COVID. The only thing that matters to you is to stay in power, even if everyone dies of COVID, because you are vaccinated, as is everyone around you, but the Venezuelan people are not and you prevent the vaccine from entering Venezuela,” accused Dep. Florido.
He exhorted the Venezuelan people to stand up with force and demand that Maduro let the vaccine in. The funds were approved by the legitimate AN and the regime is the obstacle for the Venezuelan to have the appropriate medicine for this pandemic, which are the different vaccines that the commercial firms have developed.
“That is why we demand that the doors of Venezuela be opened for vaccines to enter, because the Venezuelan people deserve to live healthy. While you, Mr. Maduro, allow the guerrillas, irregular armed groups and drug trafficking to enter, violating sovereignty,” concluded the deputy.
