The Deputy to the National Assembly, María Gabriela Hernández, called on Venezuelans in the interior of the country to be treated as equals to stop the deaths from COVID-19.
Hernández assured that in the interior of the Republic the problem of hospitals is even greater than what anybody can appreciate in Caracas.
“There is no oxygen, there is no Remdesivir, there is nothing that at least here you can get by scrounging to alleviate the pain of the pandemic, and people are just dying down (waning),” said the legislator.
Likewise, she asked Venezuelans to forcefully reject the regime’s claim to use vaccination days for political purposes.
Finally, she called it intolerable that the dictatorship favors a black market for vaccines in which the most unprotected Venezuelans are left without the possibility of getting immunized.
