The deputy to the National Assembly, José Manuel Olivares, denounced that the University Hospital of Maracaibo has almost 400 people with COVID-19 and more than 500 patients waiting for the results of their tests.
“The situation in Zulia remains critical. At the University Hospital of Maracaibo there are 395 patients with COVID19. Deaths of patients in isolation who are not being counted by the regime are being reported daily,” the parliamentarian warned through his Twitter account.
Olivares said that in the emergency area alone, there have been five deaths allegedly due to coronavirus.
“In addition, 500 PCRs were lost on their way to Caracas. They left Zulia and were never received at the INH. The authorities are not giving any explanation, they say they are investigating,” he added.
Given this irregularity, he reported that “now they are trying to locate all those 500 people to repeat the tests.”
