The Deputy to the National Assembly, Marco Aurelio Quiñones, accused Maduro’s dictatorship of mocking Venezuelans and blatantly misleading them about the vaccination process against COVID-19.
“Half of what Maduro says is a lie and the other half is not true. There were never 10 million vaccines in April, nor will there be in June or July because his ineptitude and corruption are inexhaustible,” Quiñones said in a message published in his official Twitter account.
The parliamentarian explained that there are not enough vaccines for Venezuela because Maduro’s regime did not make the corresponding payment to PAHO (Pan American Health Organization).
“Continuing to delay an authentic national vaccination plan by refusing to pay the cost of vaccines is NOT a matter of an electoral political calculation, it is a CRIME by every rule,” he affirmed.
He also described it as cynical that now the dictatorship wants the United States to solve the issue of vaccination in Venezuela through donations.
