The Deputy to the National Assembly, Marco Aurelio Quiñones, denounced that Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship looted fully functional steel equipment to later sell it as scrap metal on the black market.
“Another level in the corrupt practices of the regime, as it was not enough to charge for useless power plants and steal money with non-existent projects, now they also destroy equipment in good condition to sell in the black market, getting up to $ 1000 per ton,” Dep. Quiñones said in a message published through his social network accounts.
The parliamentarian for Voluntad Popular explained that Maduro’s dictatorship receives help and advice from the Erdogan regime that buys the scrap that is sent to Turkey.
Similarly, Mr. Quiñones warned that with this modus operandi they have been dismantling PDVSA, VENALUM, SIDOR and ALCASA, strategic companies that are now destroyed causing profound damage to the country.
