The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, announced that it is time to start a new phase of reunification and reconstruction of the democratic alternative in Venezuela, own the responsibilities that must be owned and seek legitimation mechanisms, all oriented towards the solution of the crisis.
“Today, November 22nd, Maduro is still illegitimate and Venezuela continues under a dictatorship,” pointed out the national leader in a letter published on his Twitter account.
The President in Charge emphasized that this Sunday the Venezuelans showed the clear will that they want to get rid of the dictatorship. Furthermore, he pointed out that this common goal is what unites all Venezuelans, those who participated in that fraudulent process and those who did not.
He also argued that the route must unify everyone to achieve a comprehensive Agreement, which has in its first points political and electoral guarantees.
That is why he insisted that it is not a time for fights between parties or egos, but for reflection and of a tighter and better union.
“A recognition to those who managed to snatch spaces from the dictatorship and to those who saw this process with hope. It was an event without conditions, flawed, with abuses and outrages by the ‘Plan Replública’ and a Venezuelan vilely murdered in Zulia State as intimidation by the regime,” added Guaidó.
Consequently, he indicated that the call to all is to fight together for free, fair and verifiable presidential and parliamentary elections under international observation.
Finally, the head of state asserted that they are not going to capitulate, or give any kind of recognition to the dictatorship.
