This Monday the First Lady of Venezuela, Fabiana Rosales, issued a message in solidarity with the Venezuelan men and women who have been victims of harassment.
“Sexual harassment is a serious issue, it should not be normalized or ignored, we must educate ourselves and train the family so that they have tools to identify it and ask for help or report it if necessary,” Rosales said in a message published in her social network accounts.
The head of the Office of the First Lady recalled that not only women are victims of sexual harassment. “Also men can suffer it from a woman or a man.”
Finally, she urged Venezuelans to build a society with values and principles so where respect for oneself and for other human beings is the priority.
