Borges condemned that Maduro’s dictatorship continues to send humanitarian aid to buy political support in the region

A few weeks before the Popular Consultation, the President (e) of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, said that it is “a powerful mechanism of sovereignty of the Venezuelan people” to exercise the majority in the fight for the political change that is urgent in the country.

The statement was made this Thursday in the ordinary session of the National Assembly during the closing of the “Debate on the development of the Popular Consultation.”

“We will not tire of inviting all Venezuelans to participate in the Popular Consultation. We will not tire of inviting them to exercise the majority in the streets. On December 6th, fraud will not gain legitimacy, they will do much worse than in 2018. Let’s not forget that we are defending the Republic ”.

He also recalled the responsibility of each citizen, each sector, each union, in raising their voice against the regime, in rejecting the fraud of December 6th, but also in massively participating in the Popular Consultation on December 12th.

In his speech, the also President of the National Parliament said that: “the dictatorship wants to annihilate the democratic alternative as they did in Cuba,” but they will not succeed because today more than ever we are firm and determined in the fight to achieve the freedom of Venezuela.

“The students, unions, deputies, and Venezuelan civil society are up to the task to protect and defend this Homeland, my appreciation to all. My recognition to the deputies who have resisted persecution, kidnapping”.

Finally, he recalled once again that crimes against humanity do not prescribe. This in regard to the “Debate on the actions of extermination and kidnapping by the FAES group as a policy of systematic violation of human rights by Nicolás Maduro’s usurping regime.”

“What chain of command are they going to point to as responsible for crimes against humanity? The judicial persecutor of the dictatorship, Tarek William Saab, is jointly responsible for crimes against humanity. If you are left with some shame (self respect), point directly to those responsible, stop being afraid ”.
