The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, applauded the forceful position taken by the European Union in rejection of the electoral fraud being organized by Nicolas Maduro’s dictatorship.
“Europe ratifies what we have denounced: there are no conditions for a fair, free and verifiable electoral process in Venezuela,” said President (e) Guaidó in a message released on Twitter.
The Venezuelan head of state said that “the struggle today is to generate the spaces and conditions that will provide a response to the humanitarian emergency and a solution to the deep political crisis.”
“I appreciate the efforts of High Commissioner Josep Borrell, for the clarity of his message and the attempts to achieve that space and the conditions that represent a real solution to the crisis,” he said.
Finally, President Guaidó said that “you cannot validate a farce in any way, to do so is to be an accomplice of a regime indolent to the suffering of the Venezuelan people. All democratic factors in Venezuela ratify this position”.
