The President (E) of the Republic, Juan Guaidó, recalled that Nicolás Maduro’s regime continues to deny the assistance that Venezuelans need after generating a humanitarian crisis after years of inefficiency.
The president stressed that the dictatorship has denied, for years, that the nation is under an emergency.
“He blocked humanitarian aid in 2019, makes it impossible to import food aid because they would lose the social control with CLAP (food ration sold by the regime), he pursued the health heroes bonus and now he does not let volunteer doctors work,” he said this Tuesday through his personal account of Twitter
The also President of the National Assembly (AN), expressed these words after the Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), Doctors Without Borders (MSF), reported its withdrawal from a collaboration program in a Venezuelan hospital to treat patients with Covid -19.
The NGO explained that there are restrictions by the regime that prevent the entry of specialists into the country.
