The president in charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, called this Wednesday to a new session of the National Assembly for next December 26th, to ratify the mechanism that regulates the functioning of Parliament and thus protect Venezuelans, preserve the Constitution and ensure constitutional continuity.
Through his Twitter account, the president asserted that the National Assembly will stand firm in defense of its people and the Republic.
“Venezuela will continue to have the only legitimate elected power in the country. The Deputies of this National Assembly are going to honor the mandate entrusted by the Venezuelans.” asserted the President (E) of the Republic.
Furthermore, Guaidó pointed out “to defend this Parliament is to defend the possibility of solutions to the tragedy we are experiencing.”
