The President (E) of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, sent a special message to Venezuelan fathers on their day, especially to the political prisoners and all those who are separated from their families due to the great crisis that Venezuela is going through and who yet are standing firm.
“Today I celebrate the fathers who continue to fight, who assume that role and commitment, and those who are building a country, those who are far away, supporting their families,” he said through a live broadcast on his Instagram account.
The president informed Venezuelans about the next phase of the ‘Héroes de la Salud’ Plan to deliver the $100 contribution to the health professionals who fight daily and in precarious conditions to save lives in the midst of the humanitarian crisis.
The head of state informed that the Legitimate Government will share in detail next steps and strategies to exert pressure against the dictatorship. “We all have a role in this process,” he said, reiterating that he will resume street activity together with civil society, unions, students and all social sectors of the country.
“It is not enough to speak, but to do. We are going to do our part, we are going to spend our lives in this. We will be reporting in detail what we are going to do, what the strategy is, answering questions about the actions of the parliament and the international community,” he said.
The also president of the National Assembly expressed the importance of communication and information in the midst of the dictatorship that Venezuela is suffering and therefore invited Venezuelans to be attentive to the official information channels.
“The dictatorship is working very hard to confuse us and misinform us. Sometimes the information is not complete and it is important that we deal with this, information is power. The strategy, the next steps. We’ll talk about this in detail. What’s the status of TIAR? What happened with the Caribbean counter-narcotics operation? What was discussed in the U.S. Oval Office,” he said.
The President in Charge reiterated that the Legitimate Government has taken up the fight for Venezuela’s freedom and will continue to insist on recovering the country.
“Very soon we will have the opportunity to share with the family, to be able to return to our homes and celebrate being together, not to miss, not to be orphaned of affection. That’s why we have to fight, to stand firm. The dictatorship is not strong, they have to try to make us see that, that’s why they are violent and ally themselves with terrorist countries, and we are not going to fall into that,” he said.
