The political leader Andrés Velásquez warned that in order to overcome the national crisis in Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro’s dictatorship must end and free presidential and parliamentary elections must be called.
These statements were offered by Velásquez after the NGO ‘Provea’ published the average minimum wages in Latin America:
“The reconstruction of the economy goes through the dismissal of this regime,” said Andrés Velásquez
Chile: $ 441
Bolivia: $ 309
Peru: $ 257
Argentina: $ 239
Venezuela: $ 1.50

“This is a painful reality of miserable wages that practically imposes conditions of labor slavery in Venezuela. It can never be overcome while this corrupt dictatorship usurps power,” said Velásquez in a message posted on social networks.
For its part, the NGO ‘Provea’ indicated that Venezuelans have the right to a quality minimum wage and urged immediate action.
