Leopoldo López celebrates the installation of the National Table for access to the COVAX Strategy

The Venezuelan political leader, Commissioner Leopoldo López, celebrated the beginning of the formation of the National Table for Access to the COVAX Strategy, which will allow Venezuela to access a vaccination plan against COVID-19.

“We thank the doctors and academics of Venezuela for such an important advance for a vaccination program against COVID-19 that is endorsed by UNICEF and PAHO,” López said in a message released through his Twitter account.

“For Venezuela to have access to the COVAX strategy this process is necessary, which must include an agreed vaccination program where medical societies, academies, UNICEF, PAHO and political actors participate,” concluded the leader.
